Now operating from a private commercial kitchen on Mercer Island, Island Treats has come full circle, handcrafting personalized confections for life’s most meaningful celebrations. Each order is thoughtfully customized to reflect colors, themes, and visions—making every treat feel intentional and special. From birthdays and mitzvahs to showers and graduations, Island Treats is honored to play a small but sweet role in the memories being made.
Meet Our Founder
Over thirty years ago, I made my first batch of toffee from a friend’s family recipe. The bottom of the recipe read: “Warning: Don’t make on a rainy day.” Curious as to how the rain could possibly affect the toffee, I called for clarification. I was assured the weather had no impact on the toffee at all — it was more a matter of self-control when you’re stuck indoors on a rainy Northwest afternoon. Thousands of toffee batches (and rainy days) later, Island Treats was born — a Mercer Island original built on craftsmanship, curiosity, and community.
